First lets start off by saying 6 inches is only 6 inches nothing bigger. So if you think it well be fine then you better double check by either getting a ruler or looking down.. At your hand for reference cause that's not that big. Recommend for car charger and that's it.

Adequate for the purpose of charging an iPhone 5s.

This connection cable solves all types of needs like iPhone 6 Plus cases which have narrow openings that only a lighting connection can work also works with charging batteries, keeps all devises closely.

This is a good buy, but just know that within 6 months, you'll have to buy another one. I don't know why Apple has it that way, but I'm sure technology will change this. Make sure you have a car charger, because that version lasts much longer.

There were a lot of chargers to choose from and I thought the one I grabbed was what I needed. But after I got the charger home I realized the cord was too short. So whenever I use this charger I have to make sure I'm on the computer using the USB port.

The insignia lighting charging 6' cable is perfect. I bought this to use next to my bed so when I am using my phone and need to charge my battery I have plenty of cord to do so. It does the job.

Sometimes the cord allows functionality as the original cable. However, 70% of the time, it only allows standard play. Not forwarding to other songs and other car capable options that work with the original cable. I threw the box and receipt away, so I can't get it replaced. I wish Best Buy or Insignia would contact me and replace it 1 for 1. I'm not asking for anything more than a working cable. Bulldog

This cord is only 6 inches long and is the perfect size. I use it to connect my phone to a rechargeable battery. It is small enough to fit conveniently into a little bag with the charger. Well worth the money.

This cord was nice because it is short but stopped working after a few months so I had to go back to the cord Apple supplies

Not very happy. Too short but that is my fault. Also the conector seems to be a bit thicker than the original and has damaged a bit the connector on the phone side

This cord works fine, but with it being only 6" long, you have to prop the device up so it doesn't hang on the cord. I wouldnt purchase anything shorter than 12" or at least look at where you'll be using it to ensure it's long enough.

The charge is very short. When in use, the charger gets hot, and also my phone gets hot too, not sure what's going on. Had to buy a charger from Apple to replace.

This is a great charger for our charger station. It works well, short and the cord is easily hidden in the station. It doesn't seem to break and fray easy either! Pleased!!

I bought this thinking it would be more useful being short. I was wrong! It actually has been more annoying than helpful. The only reason you would even need a cord this short is to use for a short connection between 2 devices.

too short to connect it to my monitor and try to charge my iphone. BTW, it is not working and I am still trying to figure out if it is working with apple products

I was looking for a cable to leave in my vehicle. I thought this length would avoid tangles, but it was so short, I could not use the phone while plugged in. I returned it for a longer length.

Does the job just like all other cables. I have bought previously and they break after a few months of use. For the price and how little they last, look elsewhere.
