Odd length, not flexible

However, the odd length & flat cord make it not very flexible so that the phone has to lie one certain way (or dangle) when plugged in. Just buy an extra lightening cord instead.

Does what it is supposed to do

It charges your phone. Now your phone is almost completely useless while it is charging because the cord is so short but if you are interested solely in truth in advertising then yes, it will charge your phone.
