Sturdy cable with the 6 ft length being long enough to use the phone while it is charging.

Received this cord less than a month ago, and at first I was pleased. The longer length was super convenient, and I didn't notice any difference from the Apple cord (which I had for over a year, but lost). Today, my phone was plugged in and on my bed but then fell (a soft, 2 foot drop) - when I reached down to pick it up, I saw that this cord had broken (see photo). My phone has has been plugged in & fallen off my bed before, and the Apple cord NEVER broke.

The longer cord is very convenient and thus far seems quite sturdy.

I am pleased with this cord, it is durable and did not cost an arm and a leg to buy.

I’ve bought several of these in various lengths. They are pretty tough and I’m mostly pleased. However, two of them are finicky about maintaining connection on the lightning end (they happen to be the oldest of six). One of them was pinched in a closed car door so I figured that was the cause, but the other has never been damaged. I suspect maybe after high usage there may be some wear and the fit becomes slightly loose. I only use this brand so can’t compare longevity, even to Apple brand.

The cable length and how the connectors are joined to the cable make it almost indestructible.

I have purchased several Insignia cords over the years to use in multiple locations to charge my phone. This time I was facing a hospital stay and was advised that if I brought a phone with me I needed an extra long cord as available power outlets in most rooms were not near the bed. The Insignia cord was the perfect length and worked like a charm. No issues charging my iPhone 7 Plus..

The 6 ft lightening cord is perfect. Just the right length. I have always gotten 3 ft but realized.. wasn't long enough when I went somewhere.especially in a hotel or hospital where we found ourselves often. 6 ft perfect. 3 ft often too short & 10 ft too long.. under my feet. Will definitely purchase more 6 ft length.. just right..
