This cable was purchased to replace the white cable supplied by Apple. We have four phones, and every cable has become frayed or broken near the lightning connector. This cable from Insignia combines flexibility with sturdy construction, no issues with fraying. Also, several third-party cables we tried caused an "incompatible" error with the phones, resulting in poor charging. The Insignia products have been very reliable in connection and charging.

Got this for my moms iPad mini. Works just as well as the apple one. Seems to charge in the same amount of time. We have not tried to use it for data transfer.

Apple always supplies you with the bare minimum length for charging chords, it's infuriating. First purchase after I bought my iPhone was a longer chord, this insignia version does the trick.
