Sure an Apple cable is thought to be better, but the Insignia - Apple cable works just as well, at a lower cost than Apple. Try it, you will be happy you did and SAVED $$$.

Would purchase again would recommend this item to be purchase had my last one for four years appears to be sturdy looks like it won’t fray at the both ends

I've tried a lot of different cable brands for my Apple products. I generally find the genuine Apple cables hold up the best, but just wanted a few extra cable to keep in my truck for passengers to use (mostly kids). These haven't had a lot of use, but so far are holding up ok.

I've tried several sub cords for my iPhone and this is the only one that is strong and last a while. It's very convenient and I have no worries about it as I did the original cord that came with the phone.

Most chargers would have broke or shorted out by now and I’ve had this one for a couple of months. Definitely long enough and definitely need more in my house! Will buy this brand again.

This was exactly what I wanted. A six-foot cable to charge my devices. And I wanted a little longer cable so that it would have more flexibility for me. This one is perfect.

This is a great charger. The cord is long enough that it reaches the other side of my bed. It also charges super fast.

I needed a longer charging cable for my lightning devices - this one fit the bill. I have used it on airplanes with charging ports at the bottom of the seat - it is plenty long enough for charging.

Have had issues with cords. This one has held up well and not frayed at the ends. Still works well and have had no issues with it.

Other cables seem to break just below the end of the cable. I've had a couple of this brand in the past and they have so far held up better under normal usage compared to the others.

Bought this cable for my ipad, the cord they give you is so short, needed a longer one. This cable is the perfect length for charging your ipad and being able to use it at the same time, I would highly recommend.

The 6 foot cable is the perfect length cable to get in my opinion. I also went with the black over the standard white like most people have so I could tell which one was mine. Cable works perfect!

It allows you to plug in your device and walk away from the outlet, to a considerable distance (6') and still have it plugged in. Comes in handy in public places where the outlets may be in weird locations.

Finally a long cord so I can use my phone while charging. probably too early to give this review since I just bought it two weeks ago but happy with it so far

I bought this for my iPhone with an Otterbox protective case. Some brands of cords are too large to fit the protective cases. It works well and is long enough to be more useful that the shorter cables from Apple.

Lightning charger and sync cable works as advertised and the length is what I needed. It's firmer than the apple standard and I'm hoping it will hold up longer, being that it's sturdier. Only time will tell.

I recently purchased an insignia brand lightning charger for my iPhone 7+. I'm very happy with it it seems to be much better quality than the average gas station cord. Reasonably priced at $20

I purchased it for my car. The standard cable length is to short to go from the center console to the windshield. This one is a great length and doesn't give you the typical iPhone non compatibility error.

Bought to replace the original lightning cable included with the iPad Air 2 & iPhones which are much too short. Insignia products perform great, and are easier on the wallet than other brands. Recommended!

It's like every month my son asks me to buy him a cable for his iPhone! So I got this one for him, and so far, it's been clutch for him! He hasn't asked for one since!
