I’ve had this cover for one month and here is what you should know. POSITIVES- 1- The cover fits the remote like a glove and there is no loose feeling or slack in the cover whatsoever . 2-The silicone cover is very smooth and almost slick feeling but there is just enough drag to provide a nice grippy feeling in your hand but it isn’t tacky or gummy feeling at all. It feels very good in your hand. 3- Provides good grip on a smooth surface such as a table top and has good slide resistance to keep from being accidentally bumped and sliding off the table onto the floor. 4-The silicone cover doesn’t attract dust or dirt and stays very clean. It also resists fingerprints and smudges very well and stays looking very clean. 5- Wiping off with alcohol doesn’t leave any smudges or smears on the cover and after the alcohol dries it doesn’t leave the cover feeling sticky or gummy. Also alcohol doesn’t pull any color off the cover or damage the surface. NEGATIVES 1-The cover is very tight fitting and is difficult to slide onto the Apple Remote. You have to push the remote into the cover and at the same time push on the sides of the cover and work It little by little onto the remote. Don’t pull on the silicone it’s very thin and could tear. 2-The silicone is very thin so may not provide as much impact protection as thicker covers. 3-The button cut outs line up pretty good with the buttons BUT they leave gaps around the buttons that will fill with dirt and crud over time and the only way to get the dirt and crud out is to remove the cover and clean it then reinstall the cover. 4-The Insignia cover is only offered in the color Black so it’s very hard to see and locate in a dark room setting plus the black buttons on the remote are hard to see because there is no contrast between the buttons and the cover. OVERALL I recommend the cover. It feels good in the hand and provides just enough grip to be comfortable to hold and use. I do think it should be offered in some more Hi visibility colors or possibly a light absorbing green color to make it easier to locate it in a darkened room. A good cover for the price.

Great little inexpensive cover for the sometimes slippery ATV 4K remote. It gives it a more ergonomic feel and has finger grooves on the back for a firm and solid hold in the hand. Doesn’t pick up too much lint either for a silicone case. Have dropped the remote a few times on hardwood floors and not a scratch. If they made this in red or another bright color I’d buy another in a heartbeat.

This coverage really protects the Apple TV Remote. I have dropped the remote and no dings or dent are on the remote. The cover also makes the remote feel cold. I used to get frustrated with picking up the remote and it was so cold. Not any more. Also the back of the remote has places for your fingers and it does not easily slip from your hand.

At first I thought it’s a free gift that came with the apple box whatever! But it definitely serves its purpose. It has already protected it from drops and my cat knocking it over lol. Also it gives it good protection from human hands it won’t leave all those prints and oils from the human hand on the actual remote. Yeah I will buy another one it’s worth it.

Fits perfectly and is a vast improvement for the slippery remote. Nice grip now and no more dropping the device!

It was tough to put on because of the material. Nonetheless thats becuase it prevents the controler from falling out of your hands. Amazing feel! Pretty cheap price too

It's one of the better feeling & "performing" remote covers I've used. I've purchased a few online; the silicone feel of this one, as well as the snugness, are worth the few extra bucks you might save over some cheap-o version. The black will make it hard to super quickly identify which way you're holding it. Could have slightly better orientation texture to help you super easily identify which way it's oriented (in cases of dark rooms, for example)

A great cheap cover for your Apple Remote. Not much to it. It’s a rubber material and feels nice to the touch. Can’t comment on how the quality control of the product is but I have two and both of them are pretty good. I got mine on promos for free which were included on the purchases of both my Apple TVs. That makes it even more of a win.

Don't hesitate. Make sure you get this for your Apple TV 4K remote. Makes the little tool much easier to grip, handle, manipulate. Fits better than a glove. Probably offers a bit of protection from falls too.

Fits the remote snuggly...great protection for accidental drops..peace of mind..bare remote seems slippery in your hand but this cover makes it so ez to handle

I love Apple TV but the remote kept slipping out of my hand. That is until i got the Insignia Remote Cover. This cover is super cool to look at and helps me hold onto my remote. Highly recommend it!

I like the feel of the silicon over the cold Apple remote. The black could be more varied than the black of the Apple remote buttons as black on black makes it difficult in a dark room.

I have a toddler who loves to use remotes every time they are within reach. This has saved my ATV remote from ultimate destruction by my little dudes love of all of dad’s technology. It fits well, and protects the edges and buttons well.

This Apple TV remote fit my remote nicely. Although, once on it was hard to take it off. The only problem was that it was very difficult to search for the right buttons at night as the remote was entirely black.
