Unfortunately, if you have fidgety kids they may tear up the edge of the case from picking at it. I think for adults this is a great case, but if you still have kids under 16 you might want to skip this option.

It not only makes the remote look a bit more premium, it helps with the gripping of the remote. Sadly, it only took one drop from my first remote to make it unusable, but after buying a replacement remote, I got this cover for it and it has saved the day more than once! I suppose it helps absorb the shock when it hits my tile floor and has been a life savor! I highly recommend this add-on!

Cheap protection - yes.. But……

So as a rubber cover it will offer some protection to your remote, but the black color makes the buttons hard to see in the dark and it’s not that thick so the buttons are almost flush, thus finding them by feel is difficult too. While there are groves on the back for your fingers, they are so subtle you almost don’t notice them; combine that with the material itself not being all that “grippy” it’s not that much easier to hold onto. It’s redeeming qualities are it does soften the edges of the remote so it is more comfortable in the hand, and it’s only $5.
