    I never tried this on a standard Xbox One controller, but it didn't work on the Elite (batteries were to big and didn't fit)

    This battery holder sucks if you want to be cheap buy it, but you get what you pay for, the clip to hold the batteries in while charging is inadequate and batteries were popping out on there own, could be better with some new engenering, I returned it and got a charging station for the controllers made by x-box, I wouldn't by insignia products again.
