Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the long battery life and ease of use of this Xbox One battery charging station. Many appreciate its affordable price and compact design, which seamlessly integrates with their console. While some users experienced occasional connection issues with their controllers, the positive feedback on battery life and ease of use outweighs this concern. I wasn't exactly sure what I was getting for my money, but the reviews were decent so I went and picked it up in store. I was a little nervous about the battery life, but after using them for roughly a month and a half I love them. So much cheaper than getting batteries. The charge holds for about a week and charging only takes a couple hours, but there's two so you can always just switch them out or charge them over night. And I got these on sale, so the whole thing only cost me 5 bucks!

Originally wanted a different product but am thrilled I selected this. Yes, it connects to the side USB port. Yes, it has a USB 3.0 on the front so you can still plug external drives and the like. Charging is super fast and I can finally stop wasting money on AAs. Indicator lights let you know when a battery is fully charged. Can't beat the price too.

Well, 2 weeks after buying this, one of my batteries just died. Just long enough for me to lose my receipt and trash the box. Heard great things about this product, I hope I just got a dud. Now I need to get another charger/battery.

Excellent charger/battery combo for XBOX One

I bought this a couple of days ago, and it seems to be exactly as advertised. When I was checking the reviews before I purchased it, I had a couple of questions that weren't answered, so I will include those here. 1# The charger plugs into the lower left side of the XBOX One console #as you look at it#, and adds about 2 inches to the overall width of the console. 2# The charger does recharge the included batteries while the console is powered off. After installing the charger #took about 30 seconds#, I immediately began charging both of the included batteries. I don't know if they had any charge as sold, but they both began charging. Full charge took about 30-45 minutes with the console turned off. 3) The included instructions are a little unclear on how to properly insert the batteries in the charger. They say to insert the batteries with the side with the "lighter stripe" towards the clip. The two batteries I got had one side that was ridged, and the other had a warning label. The side with the warning label is the side that faces the locking clip, but the batteries won't lock in place if you try to insert them with the other side facing out. 4) Installing the battery pack in the controller took a little effort, but that was mostly because I was afraid to push too hard while installing them. Be advised that it does take more effort than installing AA batteries, but the battery packs will snap into place when properly installed #read the directions!#. Taking them out of the controllers also is not as easy as removing regular batteries, but again, they will snap out also. 5) Battery life is very good - perhaps marginally worse than a pair of AA batteries, but still more than enough to spend a day playing to your heart's content. Overall this is a great alternative to using regular batteries in the controller. At this price point #$19.99 when I bought it# the unit will pay for itself in battery savings within a few months.

The batteries, at full charge last 5-10 mins at most. I now use the charger to charge my Xbox original batteries, which work fine. Wish there was another usb output (2) on charger.

It works fine with Xbox one S just that when inserting or removing game disc the charger needs to be removed and re-inserted. The batteries get charged fast and the indicator light helps to determine if it's still charging or it's completely charged. The charged batteries run longer and fits the Xbox one s controller perfectly

Made For The Old-Style Xbox One

I own a refurbished 500GB Xbox One in the old, larger black body which I purchased a year previous to writing this review. Previously, I was burning through AA batteries like they were nothing. Even though it's just me playing the game system, I like the fact that it comes with two rechargeable batteries, both of which can be juiced up rather quickly and will hold a charge for several days. It plugs into the USB port on the side of the console of the older units, but may require some adapting to work with the newer One S machines. I have had no real issues with the charger or batteries at this point in time, although they are finicky about how they go into a controller. Once in, the fit is snug and they won't fall out. If you own the older machine, this is a useful addition and it doesn't look at all out of place, otherwise I suggest getting 4733401, which is a complete standalone unit, as a companion to your Xbox One S.

    good charger so far...

After using an android cell phone cable to power my Xbox one controller for about a year, it would not work any more unless I wrapped the cord around the controller so the cable was bent where it went into the controller. I can no longer use any kind of cord in my controller, thanks Microsoft. This was my only option: to find a charger to charge the batteries with out having to use any kind of cord in my controller. So things like plug and play charger kit would not work for me.So far this has been great, You plug in the charger into the Xbox one console, and when the batteries are charged, take one battery out and put it in the controller, leaving one in the charger to charge. This comes with two batteries. You do have to make sure the battery 'clicks in' to the charger, one side needs a little help to get it in. Other reviewers mention this problem.
