The only reason I am giving this an average rating is that it comes with a battery. The charging device doesn't do a good job at holding the battery in place. Have used it several times and decided to just charge while the battery is physically in the xbox controller. If you need a charger, look elsewhere, but the extra battery sweetens the deal.

Just buy Duracell rechargeables. All this product is is low grade double As wrapped in cheap plastic that split at the seams, which is how I found out what batteries were inside. The charging station is bulkier than it should be. They include a USB out port but don't give you a cable so you can use a normal power plug. The battery packs fit awkwardly in the controller itself. They also fit awkwardly in their own charging station, sometimes popping out and therefore not charging. For what it's worth, they "work". But they work with ten times more difficulties and problems than a normal battery charging station. tl;dr Just buy the high quality Duracell rechargeable double As. I did and I'm not going back now...

ok i gave 5 stars so if anyone looks at the reviews they see this one ok heres the thing i bought this unit got home a go while later i open it up and noticed it was made for original xbox one i have the xbox 0ne s so i used an usb cable to connect it after very lilttle it showed charged ok when i put battery in controller it wasnt fully charged. so i was told from game stop that i have to use a 3.0 usb cable cause wont work with 2.0 call bestbuy and no one wanted to answere phone so i go to walmart check on 3.0 usb try and see if that takes care of it.

So this comes with two batteries and what ever USB port you plug it in to it had a extra USB port to replace it. Much better charging station then the stand with both controlers.

I bought this charger so I could swap in battery packs quicker. The charger molding fits good on the side of the xbox one, but does not fit on the newer xbox one S. Hence the four star rating. The batteries fit snug enough that if you want you don't need a backplate and you can swap in a battery in under 10 seconds. Very convenient when you're in a game online and your controller dies. Recommend this product, but again, it does not fit on the XBOX ONE S conveniently since Microsoft moved the location of the USB port on the new console. You could most likely add a USB extension cable, but then it's kinda lame. So if you have the older style console, this product works awesome.

We purchased this in an effort to save on batteries. With best buy promotions, we got a great deal and the product has exceeded our expectations. Would buy again!

Best battery charge xbox I charge really quickly it is very handly a well built battery charger and battery recomended.

This is awesome. The lit up lights let you know when the batteries are charge. Plugs straight in to side USB on Xbox.

I purchased this product a few months ago and I started noticing that the batteries were starting to require charging sooner and sooner till I am at about an hr of play before having to change the batteries. I am tired of being in a game that I can not pause and getting killed because my batteries just die.

Love it. No more buying batteries But keep this in mind, this was designed for the original Xbox One. The new One S doesn't have the USB on the side like the original. It still works just plugs into the back of the console(or the front but doing so blocks the disc drive)

Very good battery pack, will save a lot of money not having to buy batteries. Only minor issue they do not last as long as the official microsoft battery packs, but you can charge Microsoft batteries packs in the insignia station.

Charge did not hold well and It was better off just keeping the controller plugged

I am a big fan of this Insignia Battery Charging Station for the XBox One. Excellent build quality and reliability.
