This product is terrible. It shouldn't even be stocked at Best Buy. While the product seems great in theory it falls very short of expectations. While the box claims to be compatible with Xbox One S it isn't really. The charging unit fits onto the console, but doesn't sit flush. The worst part is the battery packs. The battery packs barely fit into the controller. They are just ever so slightly too large. This large size prevents the controller's battery cover to fit properly onto the controller while using this product. Overall, nothing fits quite right. This is a substandard product that reputable distributors shouldn't carry.

this only works with the one s. Purchased this by mistake thinking it worked on any new xbox, it doesn't. Returned it and purchased rechargeable batteries that last 2x longer than these do.

It works fine, but does not connect as I thought it would to my xbox one as it specifically connects direct to the S version. I got it to work with an extra USB cable I had around the house

I got two of them. One of them broke within a couple days. A little spring must have broke because it won’t hold a battery in one of the slots.

It fits in nicely with my Xbox but it is difficult to put into the controller. The batteries also don’t last long which is a big disappointment

Very disappointed in this junk. The battery packs appear on screen with full battery life then a couple minutes later I get a message that the batteries are low! This is so frustrating during online gaming! I get stuck having to leave matches because of this. One of the battery packs is completely dead now yet the light turnes white signaling it’s fully charged when I put it in the charging station. Save your money and look for a better recharging battery station.

The batteries don't hold a charge and half the time the front port won't allow the trickle charge that barely comes from it.

The batteries didn't charge. I like the style though. Connected to the side and looked great. I actually returned them and bought the Amazon version.

Used these battery packs a handful of times and have already noticed a decline in the battery life off of full charge.

Batteries are fat and difficult to fit the controller but they do. Also doesn’t say which direction to put them in you have to be careful.

I was excited to buy Hess rechargeable batteries to stop from using so many regular batteries for my controller but I was disappointed. Setting it up was easy enough but, for some reason or another, it did not charge through being plugged in to my Xbox. Also the bottom port did not hold the battery in, it just kept popping out. I thought maybe I just got a defective unit so returned it and got a new one but had the same problems. DISAPPOINTED!

When I bought these back in February, I thought I was get a good charging option for my Xbox controllers that would also save me space. Unfortunately due to the lack of ventilation that this device has, it caused my system to crash so I had to get it replaced. Fortunately I it was covered under warranty so I got a new system for free. I don't recommend this system at all.

I really liked the idea of this unit and it was aesthetically pleasing, but I couldn't get it to work. None of the batteries would charge and the LED that was supposed to come on never did. I'll allow that perhaps it was user error, but I tried everything I could think of and couldn't get it function. Ended up returning it and getting a standard charge kit with a cord.

I wish I had read the product reviews for the charging station. It never worked from the moment we bought it and plugged it in. So we exchanged it thinking it was just a defective one. The replacement charger worked because it was already charged but the device wouldn't re-charge the batteries once they died. So we will be returning this item to and finding something completely different to use.

Very cheap light wait plastic, charges do not last for more then 3 hours of use. Not a fan.

It is bit bigger in size which I don’t think good good for remote, you cannot close the remote battery flap after putting this inside, I giving 1 star coz Bestbuy customer care is worst as I tried to return this and first they said we are not allowed in store coz of Covid 19 and online they said you have crossed the return window.

these just don't fit well great idea but spend the extra and buy something else

This item lasted one week I had it plugged in it stopped charging the battery packs. My horrible 15 day return policy expired right when it stopped working how ironic. So now I have to plug my controller up to a android plug to charge the controller batteries because the device that plugs into your Xbox stop charging the batteries!

Plugged it into my xbox and loaded the batteries. Batteries were already charged so put one in controller to play. Battery got down to about 3/4 when I plugged it back in when I was done. The white light flickers for a second but no amber light comes on to show its charging. Went to play again and battery is lower than I left it

battery drains pretty fast. Would not last 3 days of gameplay.
