This mouse sucks so bad. I have to uninstall it and install it again for it to works.

The center roller stopped working after about a week. Nice feel and design but without more rugged scroller worthless.

I’ve bought nothing but Logitech mice for many, many years. I don’t know what has happened with their quality, but the last two have been terrible - awful to connect with my new iPad Bluetooth. I’ve used Insignia products before, and been pleased with them so decided to give this mouse a try. SO happy! Connected with no problem at all! (Unlike Logitech - ai,yi,yi). Nice and solid, easy to change the response setting (just click the button on top) and very nice to hold. Granted, my hands are on the small side, and a person with larger hands might find it too small, but for me it’s perfect. And the price? Perfect. I’m thinking about stocking up on a couple of them so I have spares when (if) this one ever dies on me..........

I bought this mouse a couple months ago and like most other people who have given it poor ratings I have been having issues with it disconnecting. Low and behold I did a quick search and found out that it was not the mouse that was having the issues but Windows 10 was turning off the connection to conserve power. You need to go to: Device Manager > Human Interface Devices > Bluetooth > Properties and disable "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in the "Power Management" tab. Once I did this, I have not had any issues with the mouse.

I like this mouse--I really do. And this would be a 5-star rating, if not for 1 MAJOR issue. The issue seems to plague all of these mice (mouses?), given enough use. The middle-click. With my first mouse, the center wheel no longer clicked when depressed after around 2 weeks. I returned it and (eventually) received a replacement. I was perfectly happy with it, but after around 2 months, it, too, failed. I have not yet attempted to obtain additional warranty coverage, but I suspect it an impossibility, as I've long-since thrown out the packaging and receipt, and it is not on file (As an infrequent I've never joined the "rewards" club.) Please note, as a software engineer, I am quite a heavy user of my computer. However, as this is a travel mouse, odds are good that even a light user will have it sloshing around a briefcase or backpack. This is definitely a fault in the design or manufacturing. I've had a Logitech Marathon M705 for 5 years now, which has seen far more and heavier use than these mouses have in their short lifetime, and it has had no problems with the center click. I really do hope that an improved Insignia branded bluetooth mouse is developed and released. It is a very nice device being sold at a very nice price. The ergonomics of it are wonderful, given its size. The back and forward (side) buttons are wonderful, and essential for any mouse I purchase for my work. The multiple-DPI setting is helpful for graphic artists and/or gamers. It connects quickly, and has a surprisingly long range for a low-cost Bluetooth device. I couldn't recommend it enough--if not for the early loss of functionality. If you're willing to make returns and obtain warranty service for this, you can't beat it for the price, or for even for a higher price. Alternatively, if losing center click won't disrupt your workflow, you've got nothing to lose. However, I am a heavy user of it, and it really is unacceptable. I can't give you a "yes" or "no" on whether you should purchase this mouse; however, I hope to have given you all of the data you need to make the determination for yourselves! This mouse is fantastic. My 2011 MacBook Pro is nearing the end of its life, but I need to make it last as long as possible, and this mouse came to the rescue. It does not need a usb dongle-thingy, which is ideal Bc my USB ports no longer work. The Bluetooth connectivity is great- even if it goes to sleep during periods of inactivity, it “wakes up” with just a touch and stays connected. I’m in love.

Small mouse great for travel use or small hands. Connected easily. Battery included. There is some occasional lag after non use but it catches up rather quickly - it's a 20$ wireless mouse. It does not require a USB so that is a plus on my laptop.

It was really easy to set up and start using, but there is a little delay if you work on details or gaming you look for something else, however if your laptop got not many USB port like mine this will get your job done.
