I couldn’t expand it too far because the plastic was very cheap. It wasn’t fitting properly onto the vent so we looked in the box and noticed that a piece was already broken off of it and laying in the box. I will probably purchase one that just mounts on the dashboard next time so I won’t have to worry about it fitting in my car vent.

The side clamps are iffy on whether they will hold the phone or not. They don’t hold the phone tightly in place. The only good thing I will say about this is that it doesn’t fall off of the vent easily, if at all.
