My other cars have CarPlay support, so driving the Mini w/out front-facing Apple navigation was kind of a pain; the Insignia car holder eliminates that. Works great with an iPhone XR, and the clip is sturdy/stable enough.

It’s affordable and works great. The only issue I have with it, is that the mounting system they have for it is a little weird

Check you vents before buying. If it works for you car it's a good functional item to hold your phone while driving.
