Not such a great purchase for a 10 yr old. Color selection wasn't worth it either. should have waited to buy online in 'preferred' color

It fits the tablet quite nicely and ls of a solid build quality. There is a couple of problems but these are mostly related to the kindle's design. First the plastic corner pieces that hold the tablet block the charger port. Not terrible but have to move the corner piece to charge every time. Second the power button on the kindle is located on the backside of the tablet on the beveled edge. This makes it hard to push with the case on. Overall a very nice case and could be better with a different tablet.

The material is thick, durable, and the plastic corners you attach to the ends of the tablet seem like it would fit snug. The stretch fabric seems like it would hold up well without tares. I enjoyed the idea of both horizontal and vertical stand capabilities . As the package states it fits "most" 7" tablets. So, I was a bit surprised when the manager told me that it would certainly fit not only my kindle Paperwhite but my Samsung galaxy tab 4 7" nook. He was wrong on both counts. Of course I had to buy it and take it home to find that the manager clearly had no idea what he was talking about. This is the fifth time someone at the location of best buy I shop sold me an accessory that didn't work for what I needed. I thought the case was great, but bring the tablet with you to make sure it fits.
