My Husband loves this boombox for his shed andcin the garage. Sound is great.

no problems with this player... it plays clearly and has good sound.. easy to use... lightweight... cd player and radio both work well...

I have a small collection of CDs that I drag out for Halloween. I could upload the music to an IPOD and use that but it's just easier to put it into a CD player. I needed one to put outside to create a scary ambiance. I realized that hardly anyone sold these portable players. I was really glad to find that not only did Best Buy carry them they had them in stock in store. This CD player does the trick. No frills, plays well, sound is good. This was definitely worth the reasonable amount of money it cost.

This is a nice small radio CD player. Seems well built. The volume at its highest point isn't very loud, so if you want your kids to keep it low, they won't have another option anyway with this. That would have been ok, but, the sound isn't great and there is no way to change the bass, etc, to your preferences. The radio is fine, several stations came in in my below ground level apartment. My 20-month-old granddaughter loved it just fine, but if you want more bass or more treble, best get another machine. Would I recommend? it really depends who its for and their preferences. If you want low volume and don't care about base levels, then, yes, it seems like a fine item for its price.

Compact, good looking, sound is very good, easy to use and travels well. Great that it works by plug in and batteries. Nice price.

My girlfriend loves her new portable CD player. She can move it from room to room, house to studio, with ease. Very user friendly. She likes the sound quality which is very important to her. And she likes the more traditional appearance of the player. She’s happy, I’m happy!!

I like this boom box, it's compact and easy to use. The sound is terrific for a small inexpensive boom box. Very good for the money.

My husband needed a small CD player for his woodworking shop. This size is perfect. The sound is very good for the price. We are pleased with this purchase.

We actually bought this as an open box item. My husband's home office had no radio, and he enjoys classical music in the background. We are not tech savy so internet connections to music streaming didn't really figure into the picture. Now he easily enjoys his Public Radio connection as he works. This is probably not for those who are accustomed to perfect audio delivery, but it is also at a price point that is real value for money.

It is lightweight and easy to carry. It has good sound and can be placed just about anywhere.

The Insignia boombox is an excellent product. You will need to read the instructions to set up your product, but it has good range and sound quality. It was one of only 2 radios available for purchase at Best Buy, but the price and quality justify its purchase.

It does exactly what I need. It doesn't take up much space, the sound quality is good for such a small unit, and the controls are easy to see and to get to.

Excellent size for a small desk or nightstand. The first time you use the radio it takes a few times to tune to find local radio signal/stations, but it works great after that adjustment.
