My 2.6 year old loves music. Couldn't find a small yet affordable radio for his room with a CD player. This was the only radio at the Best Buy by me. It's great. It's loud and light. Has a cd, radio and auxiliary sound option. My son pops his music in all by himself and we jam out since buying it. It was a great buy.

A remarkably inexpensive CD player, but the sound quality is very good and it is easy to use. Despite what the price tag might suggest, there is nothing wrong with the quality of this boombox. Highly recommended. I saw another massively more expensive model on the shelf next to this one when I got it, and I don't think the higher priced one would be any better.

I bought this for my wife as a replacement for the small boombox she keeps in the kitchen for listening to her CDs. It's small, sounds good, and so far (about a month) seems to be able to play every CD she throws at it, including ones we burned on the computer from MP3s, etc. Really - the only think I wish it had was a USB port so I could use thumbdrives as well as CDs.

Good device, the shape makes it hard to be located on a desk or night stand. I'm only using it for a CD player which sounds good for video books. Controls are like all other CD players radio reception is good. The price,is,right for the device.

This thing is awesome! I'm an old school kind of guy that has a lot of CDs and I really enjoy playing them. They just sound better than the digital services and item delivers. Plus it's lightweight and compact. Put them at 50% off so I can buy more of them.

Bought for a gift, I have yet to hear anything negative from them and they still use this to this day

We purchased this radio for my husbands 85 year old father who just wanted something to listen to the am radio stations during baseball season. He is needs something very simple and easy to use or he won't use it. It was easy for him to program, the sound is good, and the ballgame came in well for him.

I purchased the Insignia boombox (AM/FM radio & CD player) to replace an old Memorex boombox whose off switch and speakers were worn out. Th Insignia boombox is perfect for my needs and is easy to use.by pressing buttons for the various functions rather than having to toggle switches between functions. The sound is perfect for the room in which I use it. I have considered purchasing another for a different location.

The boom box looks good and sounds great. I like the size and ease of operation.

We needed a radio & CD player that was portable to listen to on the balcony of our condo. I went online to Best Buy and Insignia AM & FM Boom box and read the reviews all were positive and the price was very attractive. It looked like a great deal, but Best Buy had a special offer that day for free shipping, that sealed the deal. The boom box has very good sound quality and it plays the CD's with out any distortion. I would recommend this product highly.

After I purchased my new fully equipped with bluetooth car, I discovered it had no CD player. Bummer. I like to listen to audio CD's on road trips and sometimes need to listen to educational CD's for my profession. This portable CD player now sits next to me in the car when needed. Good volume and sound quality. Operates on batteries, and also has an electrical cord. The only slight negative is the number of C batteries required.

great size for a small room, nice sounding and panel is easy to read

Yes this is a small or compact boom box that puts out. It would be awesome if it had an equalizer but to play cd's and listen to the radio in a somewhat open setting its pretty good. And I think it has aux outputs for an ipod or mp3 player. Cheap and great for not high production. Its winner for me.

Its great for me, has CD, RADIO, great sound for such a small player.

Love the ease of use and size. Great to take camping. When there is bad weather its a security knowing we can still hear news since it can be powered by batteries as well as electricity/plug in.

It's getting very hard to find a boombox to play audio and music CDs anymore. This product has everything needed to enjoy your CD collection both in the home and, with batteries, while traveling. The sound is very good and the compact size allows it to fit easily on a shelf. The price was excellent for such a well-made product.

Really an excellent value--light weight, easy to carry, easy to operate and has great sound quality.
