I bought this to play CDs for my grandchildren. Yes, I have Spotify and several wireless sound devices but this allows me to play more versatile music. I would definitely recommend this CD player. It is perfect to take along, the price is great, and old school is cool.

This is a very good sounding CD player, radio: boom box. Well worth it's modest cost. These have become hard to find, but just what we wanted.

CD player works great. Tuner lacks good selectivity but functions fine. Decent sound for a small unit.

Good sound and volume at any level. Can hear no matter how far away I am from the unit and there is no distortion. Good price also. Very pleased with the purchase.

We bought this to put in our small motorhome. It is very easy to use and has a good sound.

Easy to use, great sound, great price. The Wife uses it at bed time and the buttond are lite up so it is easy to modify the unit as needed for the situation.

The over all quality of the radio is good. It is well made and easy to operate. The only real issue is the volume level. It is not really loud enough for yes in a warehouse production area. The radio is a bit louder than it is when you play a CD. But judging from the speaker size I guess I should have realized that this would be the case. Still I do like it and for the convienent size and the sound is good over all. Just not quiet loud enough.

Insignia usually makes good quality merchandise & this boom box is a great value

We needed a CD player with built in speakers for my daughters room. All too often I was missing calls because she was listing to music on my iphone. She is 2 and not ready for a phone yet, but loves her Barney. This was the perfect solution. We burned her favorite songs on a CD and I got my phone back. Not to expensive and get the job done, with good sound for a mini-boom box. Do they still call them boom boxes?

Great little player for listening to the radio or playing cd's. Good sound quality. My only desire would be to have a lid that when pushed, would open. You do need to physically open it. It does have soft close.

Really needed a radio like the one we brought. Great sound, an easy tuning. Strong reception, easy to used too.
