Came with a rechargeable battery, much more than I expected

I bought this charge kit because I was tired of buying batters. I had an x-box brand charge kit for a couple of years but it stopped charging the battery after about 3 years. I considering buying the x-box brand again, however I wanted to give the Insignia kit a try and see if the savings in initial price would be worth it. While I cannot attest to the longevity of this kit, I can say that it works just like the x-box charge kit did. The batter was a little hard to get into the controller the first time, but since then, it has been fine. A charge lasted about 6.8 hours for this battery. There was a lot of continuous use and at a distance of 6-7 feet away from the console. Maybe if I sat closer it would have lasted longer. I am satisfied with this purchase, though I do not like the green on the bases of the cables. Otherwise I think this was a good choice and I look forward to seeing if it will last as long as my old x-box brand kit.

Bought this to keep from changing AA batteries at the rate that I was changing them out. This kit definitely works very well! It has won my vote. The price wasn't too shabby either. Would definitely buy another.
