I actually went to the store to get the Microsoft version but they were out of stock. I was a little upset about it because I was forced to get the Insignia brand but now I am glad I did. The price was much cheaper and it works just great. The battery pack fit perfectly and didn't take long to charge fully. There is an indicator light that lets you know when you can unplug. The charging cable is long and you can use it to charge most micro usb phones. This was a great deal and I am glad I got it.

The Insignia "Play & Charge" kit works better than the Microsoft one; and it keeps working. If your sick of reaching for new batteries I would recommend getting the Insignia Play & Charge kit.

I like the battery pack and everything but my cable stopped working after 2 months of moderate use. They need to do something about the cable quality

Picked one up for a replacement for the AA Batteries in the wireless controller; no issues, and a very easy setup.

It was very helpful in keeping the controller charged. My controller wouldn't last long with the rechargeable battery pack I bought before this, and it was a hassle to need to recharge it every day. The cable is really long for this product, which I like and is very useful.

Wonderful battery and very nice cable. Battery life is equal to or better than the Microsoft version. Highly recommend this product for your XBOX ONE controller.

Honestly, great product. Did not cost me about 40 bucks compared to the one I would had to buy for XBox brand battery and cable. This does the job plenty.

Well, most people have great reviews of this charger, but I have had a different experience. First, the good. I do like that the charger cord is 10' long as this means I can play from my couch instead of bringing a chair up closer to the TV. Second, the bad. Within two weeks of purchasing the charger I started having problems. I would get in a couple hours of game play before I would get the pop up message saying I needed to plug the charger in. So I would plug it in, but it would still give me the same message. I would then switch over to my other regular battery operated controller for awhile, thinking that would allow time for the rechargeable controller to recover from my apparently over the top playing. Then I would grab the controller, STILL plugged in to the charger, and begin to play. Guess what? Yes, it would give me the pop up message again saying I need to plug it in. What? It WAS plugged in! I soon figured out that there must be a wire loose in the connector to the controller, because if I wiggled it just so it would be fine. That doesn't work well if you are trying to battle monsters when the controller can't figure out that it is connected. It also doesn't charge the controller up at all sometimes because of that bad connection. Unfortunately, I waited too long to get a replacement. My bad. So lesson learned...if you have ANY problems with charging, be sure to take it back for a replacement immediately!

My usb pins broke so it doesnt stay in place anymore, causing charging issues and i cant play while its connected by cable as it literally falls out. Ive had it for a couple months.

Usually just stay hardwire but just always keeps the recharge pack charged so it is very nice

Just a little bump and bend on the connector to the controller and it doesn't work anymore. I had mine for about 2 month. I wouldn't buy again.

i love this product because i do not have to keep buying batteries. this charger is the best thing that you can invest your money in.

I bought this cause it was on sale. Never again will a buy a product that isn't Microsoft. When charging "full" take charger off and battery isn't full. By looking at the reviews I am glad it isn't just me. Sad thing is you would think by the reviews the problem would be fixed by now. You just lost a customer Insignia. Please buy a different battery pack you will regret this.

Like the title says this device works like a charm. Being able to charge and keep playing is the best!

It worked good so i thought, i used this charger maybe 4 to 5 times before i started to notice it would disconnect my controller when i connected the charger then after a couple more uses it would just power off and on my controller when i connected it and pnce i stood still it would stay on then i would move and it would power off the controller even if the controller was fully charged o.O and i take good care of my stuff too so this was a bust i suggest good quality rechargeable batteries not durecell ones from amazon

Can't really blame Insignia for this because Microsoft decided to go with a micro USB port. This thing wears out pretty quickly in my opinion. Would not recommend this to someone who might drop the controller. It will wear out just from normal use. I've had mine for about two months and it is dead. Find an alternative. I just bought a wired controller.
