I'm so glad I bought this item so I don't have to worry about dying batteries and costs. It should have been something that Xbox built into their controller like the PS4 (which I recommend over Xbox one, but that's another review).

This was fire. And when I say “this is fire,” I mean this is good product. A great product. It didn’t last long, but it’s a good one.

I bought this because I had a reward certificate expiring and it came out to next to nothing so I figured why not. I do like my controller attached as I feel there is a slight advantage to doing it.

Pro: lighted end to confirm controller is properly plugged in. Has decent amount of charge once low battery is display to give time to plug in rather than instantly dieing Con: cord could be longer to prevent sitting to close to TV.

Work exactly as advertised. Holds charge for a long time. Ability to play while charging is a huge plus. Cord is fairly long.

Love the charger it last for a long time the cord is long enough to play and charge at the same time. I wish I would have gotten more then one.

Works just as well for me as the Microsoft version . The charging chord was almost the length of the Microsoft one but the battery dosent have the +or - on it. I don't know if it makes a difference but no problem yet .

Went to buy this Because my last one died after almost 2 years. Got this one to exchange it out. However, they will not allow you buy Geek squad protection on it anymore. But still great!

I can’t see it for myself that these are amazing but I can’t say that my child who loves his Xbox uses these often especially when traveling

Never run out of batteries again, last forever for hours of game play, wire is longer than the microsoft version

I loved being able to buy this on line. Typically I go to the store and no one knows for sure that it will fit or work on the system I was able to get exactly what I needed online.

I still don't understand why Xbox doesn't make their controllers with the built in battery pack like playstation but if you don't want to keep on buying batteries I suggest you get the charge and play kit

I purchased this before realizing I could just charge the battery/controller with a basic mini usb charger. It will save you 10 bucks to not purchase it with the cord, but the cord is very long if you need it.

It is a rechargeable battery with a long micro usb cord. Does what it needs and nothing more. The only downside is when you plug it in your controller will lose connection for about five seconds.

It's nice never have to worry about having extra batteries, just plug it in & u can still play while it charges w/o missing a beat

I keep this in my laptop bag and it has yet to fail me. Great way to keep a reliably charged Xbox controller on me at all times

Overall we are happy with purchase. Price isn't over the top expensive which is great for us parents who have competitive gamers in their family. I have a 13yr old son so needless to say, it all adds up! Thank you best buy!

I have owned an Xbox for a while and I have used a lot of different accessories. I have noticed that Insignia typically makes better products that Microsoft does. This is no different.

With this my child can play for hours and not need to replace batteries. Very easy to attach and setup.
