This is a great accessory for any new 3ds owner. You just slide the 3ds on the dock and it charges itself. The dock assist with saving space on any desk or shelf while the 3ds charges. The dock and charging cable come in two pieces so you can use the charger while playing if necessary.

This charger is great! we bought a DS for our 6yr old and now i don't have to worry about her trying to cram the charger in the wrong way and messing up the port! she can just set it down in this charger and make sure she sees the charging light come on!

The charging cord stopped working and I replaced it with this. I like putting into a docking station rather than risk having my son pull on this when plugged into a charging plug and breaking the 3DS charging port. This is a much better option.

it is relatively difficult to get the 3ds set on the charger the right way. it requires a bit of fiddling to get the contacts to be set in the right spot. however, once the 3ds is set correctly, the charger works well.

I bought my son the 3dsxl for Christmas and unfortunately it does not come with a power cord for charging it BAD MOVE NINTENDO!!! Here comes Best Buy to the rescue, we went over and picked up the accessory Kit as well as this charger and now we have a happy camper.

The stand does the job - it provides an independent way to charge and store the device. It is true that the stand is not weighted, so you cannot remove the 3DS from the stand/charger with one hand, and the stand will likely fall over unless secured by tape or velcro.

The new 3DS does not come with a charger, so you have to buy this or a competing brand. I like that this one comes with a stand to use while charging.

The only complaint that I have is that it is not able to be used unless you have a wall outlet. I know first world problems. I don't generally use the attachment but I do wish the chord was a little bit longer.

This Insignia model works perfectly our Nintendo 3 DS XL. We originally tried another generic adapter but neither worked, i bougth this charger for the console nintendo 3ds xl for my son (the console not included charger)

I was looking for a convenient charge solution for my wife's n3ds XL. This is it. It has good grip on the console while charging. You can see all the LEDs including the notification one. Includes power supply.

I bought two of these for my kids. I like that the save space by charging the 3DS upwards without having to connect a cable to it, just make sure the metal parts are touching and that’s it

Needed to pick up a new charger for my son's 3DS. Our new cat decided to use the original charger as a chew toy. Anyway picked up this charger at our local Best Buy, and it works like a charm.

I was VERY pleasantly surprised by this item! Why you may ask? Because how easily the system connects with the dock! It's, I'm guessing, magnetic... Locks in like a tractor beam!

I was looking for a charger for my new 3DS XL due to not having a charge cable for it. The charge dock is simple to use and the cable that plugs into the dock is the same as a standard 3DS cable. Great value for the money! Definitely pick one up if you need one.

Set it up takes literally two seconds, then stand it up where it’s most convenient and your all set. I love that all I have to do to charge is slide it into the holder!
