Bought my daughter the 3ds xl for Christmas and to our surprise there's no charger that comes with the unit. Bad decision on Nintendo's part. As for the product it'self it works great.

I purchased this item and I really enjoyed being able to charge my 3DS on the go. It really makes it convenient and I recommend that everyone who owns a 3DS purchase this item.

The charger overall does the job, but sometimes bumping it could stop it from charging. Make sure the Orange LED is lit solid still if you bump it. Get it if you need a cradle.

My dog chewed up the cord which made me more angry that I even had to buy it in the first place. I have to recommend this because the 3ds does not come with one so you have to buy it.

This charging dock is amazing. I have purchased more as gifts since getting mine. Also, the power cable fits directly into the system so that you can play while charging!

The charging cable is 3 foot long. That's it....I can't even set it on my desk without an extension cable. It's very light so when you plug it in the pull of gravity on the cable moves the entire base. The only way it will stay still is if it has absolutely no slack (which of course is easy given the long length of the cable <- sarcasm) OR you have to have the 3ds sitting on the base at all times. Pick up the 3ds and down the charging base goes onto the floor.

It charges the kid's 3DS and he is happy. He must have the older one because the docking station doesn't fit but the cable plugs in just fine.

The charger works great and I loved the price. Would pay more for a longer cord and I don't use the dock.

Great dock, kinda works like a Switch Dock, but without video output. Only works with New 3DS XL.

Bought this for my 3DS XL because Nintendo didn't include an AC adapter in the box. I bought it mainly for the cable. The fact that it also has a charging cradle was just a bonus. (It was $5 cheaper than the official Nintendo adapter.) Unfortunately, the included cable is very short, I would guess 4 - 5 feet long. This means that you probably won't be able to play your 3DS while it's charging using the included cable, not unless you sit right next to the outlet. This also means that you will need to set the charging cradle very close to an outlet too. And the cradle is also very light, so if you try to stretch the cable too far, it will pull the cradle back. So keep that in mind. The cradle itself is functional. It does charge the 3DS. However, it's very easy to place your 3DS in it incorrectly if you don't line it up properly. I imagine that the only way this could be avoided was if the cradle were wide enough to have edges to line up with the 3DS's sides, but that probably would have made it more expensive. I'm short, this will generally not work as your only AC adapter. You'll probably need one with a longer cable. If you already have a cable, the charging cradle is decent though, once you get the hang of aligning your system with it.

It charges just as well as the Nintendo charger and it stands your system upright.

It works really well. I have been using it for awhile. Definitely a must to have.

Nintendo should have included something like this originally. The original 3ds had a nice dock, but I prefer this, less shelf space.

If you order a Nintendo 3ds xl, do not forget to order a charging station. You will be glad you did when you run low on power.

It's a pretty good charger, the only downside is that you cannot play while your DS Chargers, so if you like docking station style chargers, this one is for you.

Bought two for my kids for Christmas this year and they work well

I really like this stand because it's cheap and it's also really compact.

This is a really nice charging station. Not only can you put your 3DS in the cradle, but the plug also can be used to charge the console.

I really like the fact that the cable for the cradle works for the 3ds itself. much easier way to charge the handheld. Price is spot on too.
