If you plan on using the tray included, you may have to work a little to get the DS to rest in the right spot and definitely don't leave it where a pet or kid could get to it as it's not tip-proof or made to fall. But it charges fast and it very convenient.

love the charging base

Just wish a charger period didn't have to be purchased separately for the 3DS. Luckily this is very inexpensive even though it has two charging options.
