While researching the issue, I found other users with the same complaint about the Godox TT350s, which this appears to be a rebadge of. Maybe this is Sony's fault, but either way, it won't work for me, so I'll be returning it. Too bad, as it otherwise seems good.

Per instruction it needs to be changed and I keep putting the same new battery, it will work after 2 shots but after that it dies on me. I think its factory error. Not happy and will return it.

Our built in flash got busted after we loaned our camera to my mom. Who knows how. This was too big and heavy. It couldn't be easily stored and carried while on the phone, and couldn't be folded away.

I understand the feeling when things don't go as planned. Allow me to comment that this flashlight needs to "recharge" the bulb after each discharge, it will indicate to you when it's ready to fire again.
