it is a good riser for a laptop to keep your head from looking down when you are at work. you can stuff a small keyboard under it if you want. laptops don't overheat due to having holes so no worries on that. it's very sturdy too. no wobble.

This stand is very good quality painted steel. Its stable and the deck is vented. I can highly recommend it over a plastic stand.

I bought this mainly because an employee had a request for it due to a neck injury that requires their computer screen be raised slightly higher than usual. This riser did the trick! It is very sturdy too. Something to consider when certain accomodations need to be made.

We have a tight desk area at home and have a separate printer and scanner. We wanted to buy something to save on desk space so we purchased this to use as a printer stand and it works perfectly! We're able to set our printer on top and our scanner directly below it which saves a ton of space on our desk. The metal seems to be very sturdy and is holding up quite well. I replaced my old desktop with a fast laptop, but it has limited USB ports. I needed a way to organize the desk to add a USB hub and manage the cables. This riser allows that. Though the laptop remains closed with the dual monitor, occasionally I need to acces it. I can slide it from under the desk's utility shelf and open it. It is a perfect solution.
