The riser gave me extra space on my desk and the height is perfect for how I sit in my chair

After buying, using, and having several of the laptop platforms with muffin fans fail within a short time, I saw this item, advertised as a "monitor riser". It raises my laptop to a comfortable viewing level, and allows sufficient air to circulate below and cool it. It's also high enough to use while sitting cross-legged on my bed, keeping the laptop from smothering on the bedspread.

Simple, yet functional and solid. It gets the job done. I recommend it.

These work for laptops, monitors and I just purchased this one a DVD player. I needed to add a little height to the device so the remote would work.

I have attached to my PC 2, 27" monitors and because if the size of my desk I needed to boost the altitude of them in order to be at eyes level and this was my solution

I have a large monitor on this riser, and it is quite sturdy. I like the additional room I now have for paperwork underneath the monitor. The height is not adjustable, but that's not a negative for me. I just thought I should mention it.

Absolutely love this product! It has raised my computer as I wanted and I have a storage compartment under my computer. Which allows my work station/desk area to be neater.

I purchased this for my home office. Prior to getting the riser I was using a box. This riser fits my 19 inch tv screen on it great. The bottom gives enough space to slide my keyboard out of the way when not in use.

I have an all in one monitor and it sat flat on my desk for years, it did take up free space and I wasn’t even looking for anything but when I saw it I knew it would help with giving me some free space back. It’s sturdy and provides great eye level elevation! Great price for convienance!

It is a very sturdy metal riser. I bought two of them. One has a 27 inch monitor on it, and the other has my tower sitting on it to keep it off the floor. There is not a weight limit listed on the packaging. My tower weighs a little over 15 pounds, and the riser supports it with no sagging. It also has no-mar rubber pads on the bottom of it.

I'd checked around town for monitor riser. I didn't want a plastic one, as they tended to be weak and not provide as much space for placing things under as this design. There are several other examples of this exact design from various manufacturers, but most are some assembly required (unlike this unit), and all were to some degree, more flimsy than this on. None were significantly cheaper, either, though a couple are more expensive. Maybe you get what you pay for, which is a bit more than I really wanted to for a very tiny bit of furniture, but this model is the sweet spot.

My back has been hurting lately so I have been standing by the kitchen counter and using my laptop to do my computer work. I needed something to elevate my laptop and a Best Buys associate recommended this . So glad he did! It raises my laptop up just enough and I bought a wireless keyboard that fits under the riser when not in use. I should mention I am only 5'4" so someone taller may not find fits their needs.
