It's exactly what I needed for my traveling work to lift my laptop to a comfortable eye level and use my wireless keyboard so my neck doesn't get sore :-)

This is the perfect height to raise my monitor to eye level on my desk. It is sleek and like that I can store stuff under it.

This item sits my laptop at the perfect height. It is nice and sturdy.

My monitors did not have any adjusters for height and so I got these to raise my monitors height and it did the job. It is stable and you can use the space under for paperwork or put you keyboard there for more desk space.

This stand is the exact size of my laptop. The venting allows some heat to escape and the space underneath is a great place to store the keyboard when it's not in use.

I originally purchased this to use to elevate my monitor and to give me more room on my desk. I found that I really was more comfortable without it as the monitor was adjustable. But I've been using it for my laptop when I am sitting in an armchair or on the sofa. It raises it to a more comfortable typing level and keeps the heat of the laptop off my legs when I am sitting and typing for a long time. I turn it in either direction, according to where I am sitting. Sometimes I use it for extra desk space for a larger project when I really want to spread out.

perfect stand to make the computer sit up a bit higher. you can also store things underneath the stand so I love it especially for the price.

Pretty basic stand, but it's a good height and sturdy for what it's worth.

After dealing with a hot keyboard base of my laptop and listening to the constant whirring of the cooling fans which are on the bottom of the laptop, which does't make sense to me if the laptop is sitting on a surface, I purchased this item as a pedestal or base on which to place my laptop. It seems to have done the trick with keeping the heat to a minimum and the fans don't nearly run as frequently. It takes some getting used to as my keyboard is now raised about 4 inches higher than the surface on which it normally sat. Wouldn't recommend if you actually sit your laptop on a soft surface. Could fit on my lap, but maybe not for all. This riser is sturdy and cheaper than the devices designed with additional cooling fans that require yet another plug-in. Note my laptop is 5 years old with a number keypad built in, so it is larger than many of the newer slim models.

Being disabled & bedridden much of the time, I'd been looking for something to stabilize my laptop while providing enough ventilation. The laptop "stands" with built-in fans that had to be plugged into an increasingly rare USB port always died after a while. The 1st one I bought w/fully articulating lockable legs SEEMED great at first but kept falling forwards onto me. But not this one! THIS stand has a deceptively simple (dare I say ingenious?), sturdy one-piece metal frame for support with a thin, aerated-metal top, and four rubber "feet" to hold it in place/avoid scratching any surfaces you may put it on. I have it on top of the 3"-high, SAME-width-as-the-stand box my laptop came in, & finally, I'm NOT hunching over my computer, hurting my neck, to see the screen while I type anymore! Sitting on top of the bed, the screen is just below eye-level for me (at 5'2"), where I can still read it sitting up at full height, & there's room between the box and riser for my external hard drive & other peripherals that used to keep falling off & getting sucked into the black hole UNDER the bed! (The riser's legs keep them from sliding off!) The whole setup stays perfectly balanced even when I move around/get in/out of bed despite my "front-heavy" laptop. I can watch videos at night, turn the computer off when I get tired, move the whole setup to the corner of the bed, & it's still in place when I wake up! (With help from those rubber "feet" that keep it from sliding around.) With the attractively patterned (albeit hidden) ventilatation holes in the thin-metal top, I also have YET to get a "BSOD" due to my laptop overheating while playing power-hungry games--no fan necessary! In fact, it's COOL to the touch as I type this. BEST laptop stand I've ever had! Highly recommended! Now to find the ultimate BACK support for my bed, and I'll be living the high life again! ;)
