B/c there are still 'monitors' that don't have DP!

A portable one that sits on my desk like a tablet which, for its price, understandably doesn't have Display Port. I also have a Samsung M7 bought in 2023, which also doesn't! I got tired of seeing activity on my CPU's GPU when my actual graphics card 3 other outputs on it. If it cost more than this to fix it, I likely would have left it alone.

Solid DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter

It allowed me to hook-up an older desktop that does not have an HDMI outlet to a HDMI outlet for my TV that I am currently using as monitor.
