Woke up the next morning, went to log on for work and display wouldn't come on. Ended up being 45 minutes late while I did frantic troubleshooting only to determine this brand new adapter died after one 10 hour work day. Had to drive back to Best Buy after work to replace it with another adapter. It's been three weeks now and this one hasnt failed, but I don't trust it at all. I'd recommend getting a better brand online if you have the time to wait for delivery. If you're in a pinch and need something immediately, then roll the dice on this one.

It can only take DisplayPort and convert it to HDMI, not the other way around. Make sure you know which way you need to go before buying.

Nobody told me this until I took it in three times and someone finally figured it out. The products from Best Buy are OK but the knowledge and customer service, not so much.

So its useless to me. Just be careful
