Makes very bad toast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to all other such toasters I have used, this one flattens the bread, removing all it's sponginess and destroys the joy of eating stuffed toasts. I think it leaves very little space within the two heat plates and that squeezes the sponginess out of the bread. Do not get this.

Great for the price

Considering I live in Texas and it's the summer, I'm trying to keep the house cool. This allows me to make my sandwiches and not get the kitchen hot.

Was hoping for more

I tried it out and it was hard to get the lid closed. then it burned my sandwich. Only used it once. If you are looking for one, look at other ones. Didn't pay a lot, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Easy to use.

It is very simple to use and clean. The temperature can't be selected or the time, but there's a green light that comes on when your sandwich is ready, sometimes is not but so you just leave it in a little longer. The only way to turn it on or off is to plug it/ unplug it. The material is very sturdy and it has lasted all these years.

great lil product

It sits great on my stove, and heats up rather quickly. I just wish you could remove the plate to do a more thorough cleaning than just wiping it down.
