I have to put a few books under it in order for the arm to clamp firmly to the desk. Hoping this doesn't cause any chaos when taking it apart...

Assembly is straightforward with little confusion. dropping the monitors on can be a little nerve-wracking, but not hard. My only issue was that I had to get my own hex keys and tighten some of the joints in order to hold up my heavier monitor (Samsung Odyssey) but my second monitor is lighter and had no such issue.

Once going to youtube, it was a cinch to put it together and it is doing the work that it needs to do. As far as giving 4 stars for the ease of use is only because of the instructions being confusing.
