    I bought this in order to charge my phone and power a GPS unit from the same outlet. (And not have cables and chargers running all over the car.). It had worked great so far. Definitely much neater. It's low profile, the USB cords plug in firmly, and it has a dim blue light on top so you can see it and that it has power. It is quite stiff when plugging it into the 12volt outlet but it definitely won't become loose.
