I even asked a customer service representative if I could swap it out but he assured it also works with the regular Switch. It does not an is completely useless to me.

It was not compatible with any items I purchased. Total disappointment when trying to exchange for the correct item. Best Buy wanted to charge my $50 for said exchange. Disappointed and does not make sense to do a "gift with purchase" that isn't compatible. Returned to store for 0 credit.
