Bought this around Black Friday and is my first tablet. No complaints!!

I would recommend this over the iPad or kindle. It is a great device.

Bought this tablet on Black Friday for $80. My advice - this tablet is not worth $200 - but it is a good deal at $100 and a great deal at $80. I also have a 7 in Galaxy Tab 2 (that a paid twice as much for) that I am using as comparison. The 8in screen size is ideal for watching movies and playing games - my 5 year old prefers this over the larger iPad and the smaller Galaxy Tab. Compared to the Galaxy Tab this tab appears to perform just as well with the games and watching movies. One complaint that I have read is about the memory that is available - first of all the tablet has a micro SD slot - I added in a 16 GB card that I filled with movies for the kids - second the tablet itself has the memory divided into a system memory and a NAND Flash - this is different than the Galaxy Tab that has it all in one. What I found is that as you download apps they default to the system memory (which is only about 2 GB total - .98 GB available) - you have to manually move them to the NAND FLASH portion of the memory - I have about 20 apps on the device and still have over 2 GBs available on the NAND Flash. Once you have the memory issue figured out - that only leaves 2 cons that I have for the device. #1 - and the biggest issue is that the speakers are very poor - they are located on the back - huge design flaw - which causes them to be blocked by any type of case that you put on it - even without the case at full volume it is still tough to hear - would take the money you save and buy a pair of headphones or a cheap Bluetooth speaker. #2 there are no cases designed specifically for this tablet - you are stuck using a generic case which ultimately compounds the speaker issue. I keep mine in a case but my son always takes it out as soon as he can due to the sound issues. Would I recommend this to a friend - yes - but based on the $100 sale price - I would not pay $200 for the device. Keep in mind you are not getting an iPad or even a top of the line Android Tablet - this is designed as an 8 in budget android tablet - and it delivers well for its purpose - if you are looking for an iPad replacement you are going to be disappointed.
