This is a great beginner tablet. I purchased this for my father for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. Couldn't afford the Apple products, but very happy with this choice. I highly recommend this product.

Good for beginer...................................

Bought it 2 years ago. Just pulled it out again as of december 2016, and it works awsome still. Great purchase for a light use tablet. Mostly relegated to streaming shows and email.

It was easy to get it up and going. The network configuration was easy to setup. I was downloading apps with in a few minutes and enjoying the tablet.

This is a good tablet if you grab it on sale. Dual core processor with the Google App store is nice. The quality is a bit better than I thought it would be. If you've got a little more money get the 10.1 inch tablet with the quad core processor.

Overall this tablet is a great buy. It is fast, has bright screen & a great price. The only downfall is storage - if you download more than a couple apps then you are almost out of memory.

Bought this unit so my MIL can play Candy Crush. It chokes on some of the more graphic intensive games but considering the price point, anyone expecting top of the line performance is being delusional. Its an ideal no frills tablet for those with minimal needs, ie: email, Skype and simple games.

The Flex 8 is a amazing tablet to use for everyday fun. Apps are easy to install and set up. I would recommend this tablet to anyone. It's easy to use, and not a major hit on your wallet

If you are looking for a tablet for beginner's then this is one of the best you can buy. Actually I have dealt with more expensive models and this one can somehow outperform them easily. Long battery life is also a major plus.

Insignia is Best Buy's brand. Most of the devices are decent at a good price, this is no exception. This device performs well and is well worth the hundred dollars we paid!

After charging it only took about 5 minutes to set it. It does take some time to start, however once it is running it is very quick. We are very pleased with this purchase.

the cam thing was a big deal to my daughter so thats about the only bad thing i have to say. it is a little heavy, but the screen is nice. last is the power button is in a weird place on the side and not easy to turn on

This tablet is mostly used for e-mail and food shopping, but use of apps for weather and road conditions have been great.

For the price it's ok. Would not get another. This is for a 6 year old to watch movies on and play games. Sound quality is poor. Can't hear it when it's in a case. Adobe flash did not come with it. Downloaded uv movies with best buys cinema now, but would run constantly and not respond. Lock up. It has a slow reaction time ( tapping and typing etc). It does not come with a manual so if you don't use google, you're lost! I will definitely save up money so I can get my 6 year old an iPad. I would not recommend this item. But of you do, buy any 8" case, best but only sells 1 for $40!! I bought mine for $11!

Present received for Christmas for the kids. Has been used as a great asset to the whole family. Easy to use and have good access to a variety of games for the kids.

Got this for my 7 year old and he is using it all day with no problems. Battery will last for about 8 to 10 hours. Screen is bigger han other same tables (8")

Very happy with the tablet, it was a starter for my teen. Its easy to use and not a budget buster, so in my book its a great value. No problems with it yet!

Got a great deal during the Black Friday Weekend and found the tablet to be well beyond my expectations for a machine that costs less than $100 to purchase.
