I set to drop electronic stuff all the time, mainly because I seem to be Clumsy. It just happens. But this case supports with elastic constraints that appear to work! What a good idea. My LG tablet now survives while my (preferred) Apple tablet is kaput. And having a backup phone inside with incredibly good rates for the line helps me too. The extra bulk is worth it. Great idea for anyone on the move.
