bad fitment for Kindle Fire 8

When I insert the tablet into the case, the tablet shuts down. I even put thick cardboard between the case and the tablet, and it worked. The angle for reading is great. Worked this way for several weeks and then started shutting down again. I'd return it to Best Buy to ask, but they probably wouldn't know, as usual. I'll keep trying other work arounds.

The outside dimensions are much larger than. the tablet. I used it for two days. I bought a Pro-Case which is ten times better. This is sitting around unused I would like to return it, if possible.
