I use the thinner case for when I'm at home and I use this case when I travel. This case is actually kind of bulky and thick, but I like it. I have only dropped my tablet once when it was in this case and there wasn't even a scratch on the case. It is very durable and stylish. I'm still trying to figure out how to use the vertical stand feature on it.

I purchased this case for an Amazon Fire HD 8 and the top left corner cover appears to cover the volume buttons on the tablet. So I have to return it. Had that not been an issue, it is a nice sturdy cover. Just check the position of your tablet buttons before purchasing a universal cover for it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for the Insignia™ - 8" - Tablet - 16GB Model: NS-P08A7100SKU: 5157800 and the top corners are in the way of the micro-SD and USB port, so you can't access either of these while it is installed in the case. In fairness it is advertised as 'fitting most 8" tablets", but apparently they don't test if it works on their own branded tablets. Otherwise it is serviceable.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the Insignia™ - 8" - Tablet - 16GB Model: NS-P08A7100 for my son, and figured I would get this case to help protect it. I had read positive reviews by owners of Kindle's, Samsung's, etc and figured an Insignia product would work well with an Insignia tablet. Well, I was wrong. The corner pieces of this case fit directly over the charging port, forcing you to remove the tablet from the case every time you want to charge it. For an adult that may only be an inconvenience, but I know my son well enough to know that he will try to simply move the corner piece aside and slide the charger in. However, this will put pressure against the port, and ultimately likely cause damage. I gave the case itself 4 stars, as it is well made, fashionable while still sturdy enough to function as claimed - just not with Insignia's own tablet :)

Not for the ASUS ZenPad 10
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my ASUS ZenPad Z300m but had to return it after the corner piece caused my tablet to reset three times. Because of the position of the corner straps, the power/sleep button or the volume buttons are constantly being pressed. If it's not the one, it's always the other. Also, the lower corner strap gets in the way of charging port. I had to remove that corner in order to properly charge the ZenPad 10, otherwise I was fearful it would put too much strain on the port causing the port to prematurely wear. If you don't have an ASUS ZenPad 10, give it a try; it may work well for you. But for me, it didn't play nicely so it had to go back.
