||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought My Mother-in law and Father-in-law each new 7"fire tablets for Christmas (After buying a 10 inch for my wife, who LOVES hers). I sat on that purchase for a couple of weeks and thought I better buy some form of cover to help protect it from their forgetfulness and frankly less than clean habits... So I went with the intention of buying the same Amazon Cover for it that I bought for my Wife's tablet, but they were out of them and had these right next to where they *would* beat about 5 dollars cheaper price... Thinking this was a Win-Win situation, Got them home and installed them on the two tablets and quickly identified they do not wake the tablet on opening, like my wife's Tablet cover... I think all it needs is a magnet somewhere in the cover, but there is none. So back they went, and we ORDERED new Amazon covers instead. They do what we needed. If you don't care about the Wake on open feature, then these are fine. But for another 5 bucks... I wouldn't recommend these at all. Spend the extra 5 bucks.
