This is an excellent case after having it on my device for a week. The Insignia Folio case has great build quality, and I truly enjoy the kickstand feature. I won't even entertain a case, for phone or tablet, unless it has a decent kickstand. We happened to take this on a recent trip with a 3hr flight for the kids to use. The case saw many bumps and drops, as well as held its own with the flip design kickstand. I cant speak to the longevity of this, I feel the bumper part will survive as long as needed, but the folding cover that doubles as the stand I could see getting worn out after a year or so. In reality though, there aren't many cases you're going to get the will last years. Speaking of the cover, it's magnetic closure is an appreciated touch. I also enjoy that it has the clear view rear, so you can see what color tablet it is, whether for asthetics, or if you have multiple and want to identify which is which. Overall, this is something reasonably priced that I would recommend to anyone who wants a functional and protective cover for their iPad.

This case is just OK. Tried it out and although it does the job to protect the iPad chassis, the stand is terrible, and I just cannot get it to work. I tried every configuration and just would not stand on its own. I have used other iPad cases with stands. They were far superior in terms of protecting and holding the unit and acting as a cover, it does the job sufficiently. The price is competitive and reasonable. But for my money, it’s been a few bucks extra and get a better case with a better stand. Additionally, you do have to be mindful of the screen and you may want to get a screen protector, in addition to this case for get a case that includes a screen protector. Installation for the case was easy and removing. It was very easy as well. Just wish it came with better instructions on how to better use the stand, which would not fold easily into the position to hold it appropriately. Unfortunately, that’s a dealbreaker for me. In terms of quality, the case is OK, but I think they could do better.

This doesn’t feel that protective compared to other similarly priced covers I’ve had in the past

I thought from the info online that this cover was a notebook type but it isn’t. Restocking fee was outrageous to return so I’ll either gift it or sell it.
