Just make sure there is NOTHING on the screen when you put on the protector. I had a small speck of something towards the edge, so I had a little air bubble I couldn’t get out.

It keeps the real screen from cracking. It also protects it from scratches. Your iPad will stay looking brand new just like the first day you opened it. I would also recommend the otter box for extra protection.
