I do miss the feel of the actual screen, but protecting it is more important. The protector has more of a matte finish than gloss. Unfortunately, lint was trapped between my screen and the protector during application. I am, however, planning to purchase a replacement screen (this exact type and brand) because I don't like seeing the lint. Overall, I would recommend this product for your Ipad.

Very easy to put on!

Theyve pretty much made it idiot proof so that anyone can do it with ease. The hardest part is getting, and keeping, the screen conpletley debris free until you get the protector on.
