|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Insignia Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S22 is a great screen protector. It is very clear and displays all colors of the phone without obstruction. The screen protector is also very lightweight adding no weight to the phone during everyday use. The screen is protected from damages efficiently and doesn't smear fingerprints during daily use. The application of the screen saver to the phone itself was straightforward and easy to apply. My 16 year old son applied the screen protector all by himself using the instructions included. There were no air bubbles or link trapped under the screen after application either. We’ve tried over screen protectors that claim to be made of “glass”, but seemed to be more of a plastic type material which would easily scratch. The Insignia screen protector seems more durable and does not scratch at all even when running a finger nail across the screen. Fortunately, the phone has not been dropped with the screen protector on, but I would assume it would protect as described. Overall, we are very happy with the screen protector and would recommend it to others for their Samsung Galaxy S22.

Finger Print reader does performance suffers

Cons: Do not get this if you plan / need to use your fingerprint reader, it will not work. Dont tell me to set sensitivity to high or press harder or any other nonsense...if I pressed any harder the screen would crack. It simply does NOT work. In my experience with screen protectors in general they just dont allow full functionality. This is a pretty big negative as I use biometrics for quite a lot.

The major problem is it does not allow fingerprint unlock of the phone. If you aren't planning to use this feature, this seems like an ok screen protector but it hasn't been used heavily so far.

Cracked after 4 days. Don't press too hard

The phone kept telling me to press harder when I was trying to unlock my.phone.... so I did and the glass cracked. Oh well, I am going back to the plastic film protector. They never crack and work with the fingerprint recognition unlock feature. It did look good and was super easy to install but also super easy to crack.

There's a gap at the top, sides aren't lined up with screen, and finger print reader no longer works even with screen sensitivity turned on. Had to remove immediately. Waste of my time and money.
