I would definitely say the hardness rating on the protector is accurate

The entire edge is left unprotected. Yes, I've checked to be sure it was for my phone. They even say that it is on purpose, to leave room for the case (if I remember their excuse right). 1/4 of an inch clearance? Leaves too much unprotected!!
