This item is specifically for people to use their electronics when they come from other countries to the US. So be careful when purchasing this item. Hence, I was not able to use this particular item and therefore cannot particularly comment on the quality, reliability, or functional use of the item. I got to Amsterdam, Belgium and Paris and found that I could not use. I returned from Paris on Friday, May 17th. Today, Sat, May 18th I plan to return it to Best Buy and request a refund.

It is a plug in adaptor to convert European appliances to North American plug ins. I had gone into Best Buy to buy a converter. I needed a plug in to convert North American appliances into European sockets.
