Simple, inexpensive. Works great for what I need protects our drive well. I've had a case like this before for another hard drive and it does the job. I have never had a hard drive fail me in one of these cases

Bought this case for my "My Passport Ultra Metal Edition 1TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - Silver", it fits perfectly. The case is really hard so the drive is secured when it's not in use.

It has 2 compartment, one for the drive and the other for misc. things or the wire use for connecting the drive to a laptop. It is a cheap hardcase which will protect your data from being damage.

This hard shell case perfectly protects my portable hard drive from the elements.

Keeps your portables nice and secure. Is slightly water resistant and worked wonderfully for what I needed it to do. An inexpensive purchase to protect and expensive item. Great Buy for your money!

This is the perfect fit to carry my Western Digital Passport drive in my shoulder bag. It has room for the drive and the USB cable. It's hard enough to protect it, but not so hard to be objectionable.

I use this for my Seagate 4TB drive. I can carry the USB 3.0 cable and a couple of thumb drives in addition. Definitely worth The investment to protect my backups and much needed files.

Nice hard case cover. Does what it was designed to do, it also has small pockets inside. It came free with a Toshiba Canvio potable hard drive i ordered on bestbuy.com cant complain about that !
