Good except for the kickstand's compatibility

The phone gets really hot, after charging. I suspect something with the metal kickstand. If one does not find usage with kickstand for its mechanics, they could rather look at other options.

Well, I guess I can start by telling you why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. It's because the hinge location on the magnetic ring is stationary/locked in place. If it either rotated around the groove 360 degrees or swivel on its axis, this case would be perfect. (No, I'm not an engineer and I'm not sure I used the right terms, but in my head it made sense.) Having said that, this case is well constructed with high quality materials. Very pleasant surprise. It is also sturdy and does its job as I dropped the phone (on accident) immediately after putting it in the case. Obviously, no damage. It also works exceedingly well when combined with the Insignia screen protector. The combo is just short of Fort Knox for your phone. On top of that, the color is a nice muted black and the edges are smooth to the touch. The button responsiveness under the case is fantastic and the groove for the camera slider is the perfect depth. Seriously would recommend this if asked.
