The insignia is very slim and light. It offers good protection and a good grip. I recommend buying a screen protector

I'll be honest, I was not expecting a lot for an Insignia case but it is really nice. The fit was perfect and the finish is very nice. Slightly matte and soft to the touch while the sides are more more grippy. I'm not sure how it will hold up to scratches over time, but initial quality is high. The smoke color is pretty clear and allows the color of the phone to show through.

Best clear shell case for iPhone. I'm using it on 12 pro. Very smooth edges and good protection. I used one for almost 12 months and bought another one since clear case became discolored (which is an outcome of the material used in such clear shell case.

I prefer minimalist clear cases for my iPhones. I’ve used this brand for multiple generations of iPhones, and they have protected my devices through countless falls on hard surfaces of every type. Does not appear to yellow as much as cases from a few years ago.

Love how it is not bulky like other cases but still able to protect phone...i like how the edges around screen is a little but higher so screen doesnt touch surfaces..but just hopefully stays same color in the long run...some clear cases tend to start turning yellow ...so hopefully this case doesnt

this fits my iphone 12 perfectly. i got it to replace my old yellowed scratched case. i was surprised to find this in store and at a really low price. i am happy !

This phone case cover fits great on my iPhone 12. seems to have good protection and I enjoy the clear case so my colored phone can still be seen.

I would call this a Soft Shell for sure, for $20 it’s decent protection and offers great grip. Allowing you to set your phone on edge leaning and dashboards without worry of slippage. Comfortable in hand (softens the hard corners of iPhone 12 Pro.)

After trying different cases, we purchased this phone case and are very happy with it! Feels nice in your hand and is not too bulky or too thin that i feel it's not protecting.

I was pleasantly surprised at this product. The Insignia Hard-Shell iPhone 12 clear case works wonderfully. It's a perfect "no frills" but does-the-job case. Easy to put the phone in and take it out when necessary. You can't beat the cost of other cases and because it's clear it lets the beauty of the iPhone 12 show itself. I purchased two of these cases when I first got our iPhone 12's and we couldn't be more pleased. It was in stock at our Best Buy store at a wonderful price. It was really an easy decision when compared to all the other cases. So far it has protected our iPhones but don't recall if we have actually ever tested them with a dramatic "fall" or "drop." So not sure it is as protective as some of the other brands out there. But it works for us.

This is a great option if you’re shopping for a case that will allow you to admire your new phone and are looking for decent protection from occasional drops. I went in store originally interested in the MagSafe case from Apple and was pleasantly surprised to find this one, which is very similar to Apple’s at under half the price. The rear is polycarbonate and the sides (bumpers) are made of silicone, a nice touch given that completely plastic cases have a tendency of crack. The case also has raised edges on the back to minimize the potential of damaging the camera system, a welcome addition to help protect your investment, which I don’t mind during use. In addition this case will work with *any* Qi charging pad that you already have. Many people seem to be buying Apple’s case under the impression that it’s the only case that will allow you to charge your device wirelessly. Not true! Unless you’re determined to adopt Apple’s novel wireless charging ecosystem, this case will fit well into your life. However, there is a major caveat. After less than two weeks of having it on my phone, the coating on the rear panel has begun to peel extensively. I’m not a snob about this but It’s seldom that my phone is exposed to the elements, and no phone case should be leaving a trail of plastic film fewer than two weeks after it was purchased, even budget options from Insignia. It also leaves me worried that the case will begin to yellow soon, as the coating also appears to be the case’s UV protection as well. While Insignia does offer a limited lifetime warranty on this case, I can’t imagine going to Best Buy on a biweekly basis to exchange my phone case, or the environmental impact of choosing to do so. It’s a shame given that this case gets so much else right. Fix the coating Best Buy/Insignia!

Phone case fits very well. Also has a slim profile so phone fits well in your hand. Already dropped the phone a few times and it stayed on and my phone doesn’t have a scratch on it.

Case was good for protection but the whole backside started chipping after a few months. It was still usable, just very obnoxious having plastic chipping everywhere.

So far I really like this case. Very smooth but enough grip on the sides which have a slightly higher flex than the back. Slides in the pocket easily but won't slide across a desk or slip out of my hand. My only gripe is the camera protection is poor. I'd like to see a higher raised lip around the camera lens cutout. It has slightly raised edges on each back corner to lift the whole case when placed on a flat surface which is fine but if there is any curvature or protrusion on the surface you place the phone down on you risk damaging the camera lenses. I like to see 1mm more on the front facing edge. It's fine as is without a screen protector but with one installed it's almost flush.

This case has saved my new iphone from damages so many times already. I like the fact that it’s clear. However most clear cases seem turn “yellow” after awhile. This one is no different.

Love these clear cases from Insignia. Very protective and shows how beautiful the phone is. I like the hard plastic back and rubberized sides for easy gripping. I have purchased several of these for my last several iPhones.
