It's called "hard shell" but really it's flexible. I was worried a hard plastic case would be uncomfortable but the edges are rounded and it's no problem holding all day long. It snapped onto the phone easily, fits perfectly, the buttons are very workable and as a bonus you can see the color of the phone through the case. Better yet, it was much less expensive than the name brand you would find at the cell phone stores.

Excellent case at a great price! I had this same case for my iPhone XR so was an easy choice when I upgraded to iPhone Mini 12. Case is crystal clear (they all yellow eventually FYI) and very smooth but not slippery. I especially like the fact that the back has slightly elevated corners so the entire phone doesn’t touch surfaces and it’s easy to pick up. I’ve never had any severe drops but I believe this case will offer excellent protection. Very highly recommend!

This is a really good case and the translucent black color looks especially good on the black iphone. I have only 2 very minor nitpicks about the case: 1. The buttons are excellent, very tactile and good quality, but the grey color looks odd on the case. 2. The case is snuff, but taking it off and putting it back on is a bit cumbersome. Apart from these 2 minor complains, the case is excellent.

This iphone 12 mini case is great. I had been looking for some time and could not find one I liked. This one is clear so you can see the color of your phone. the back is hard and slick so it doesn't stick in your pocket or grab lint etc. The edges are rubbery so the case is easy to hold. I would buy again.

This case had easy to open packaging and installing was simple. Edges are covered along with the bottom of the phone near the lightning port and speakers, ensuring that is protected. I feel safe of having this case on my phone in case it is dropped.

What a novel concept- charge a reasonable price for solid but basic! Actually a pretty nice case and seems pretty useable. Nice and crystal clear and, but don't expect it to use the fancy mag charging magnets to stay put (totally not necessary).
